Generally when we issue our letters to lawyers we put a suggested completion date of 4 to 6 weeks following the date of a deal being agreed.
A Vendor and a buyer should be prepared for some delays which are outside the control of the agent and the parties and generally arise from:
- Queries following survey
- Delays in mortgage processing
- Problems with boundaries
- Delays in producing loan documentation
- Problems in a chain transaction which neither party has control over
